These Terms & Conditions explain how counselling, coaching and website services are provided by Anne Raw Counselling & Coaching (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and how visitors may use anneraw.co.uk. By using this website or booking a session, you agree to these terms.
About Anne Raw
Anne Raw, MNCPS (Accred), ILM (L5)
Counsellor and Coach, Sheffield
Anne is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist (The Academy SPACE, Sheffield) and an accredited coach with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). She is a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and works in accordance with its Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Anne’s background in wellbeing, leadership and organisational development informs a practical, compassionate approach to helping people navigate personal and professional challenges.
Eligibility
All counselling and coaching services are offered to adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please seek support through your GP or an appropriate youth counselling service.
Nature of services
Counselling and coaching provide space for personal exploration and growth but are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis or emergency intervention.
If you are in crisis or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, please contact your GP, call NHS 111 for urgent mental health advice, or call 999 in an emergency.
Bookings and cancellations
Appointments can be arranged through the website contact form, BookingPress system, email, text or telephone.
Each session lasts 50 minutes, unless otherwise agreed.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled within this notice period are not chargeable.
Payments
Payments are made directly with Anne Raw, usually by bank transfer or in person as agreed.
At present, no online payments are taken through this website.
Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential within the limits of professional and legal requirements. Information is not shared without your consent, except where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or where required by law.

Premises and safety
Anne Raw leases a therapy room within shared premises at 350 Omega Court, Sheffield. While every effort is made to maintain a safe, professional and comfortable environment, Anne cannot accept any liability for loss, theft, damage, or accidents involving personal property, vehicles, or individuals on the premises or in surrounding car parks.
The building and facilities are managed by third parties, and areas such as entrances, corridors, stairways, lifts and parking spaces are shared with other occupants. As such, Anne has no control over these spaces and cannot be held responsible for any incidents that may occur there.
Health and safety are taken seriously, and reasonable care is always exercised to ensure clients’ wellbeing during scheduled appointments and while under Anne’s direct care.
Website use
The information on this website is written by Anne Raw, a qualified and accredited counsellor and coach, to explain her services and share professional insight into topics related to mental health, wellbeing, change and personal growth.
The content is intended for general information and reflection. It is not the same as, or a replacement for, personal counselling or coaching sessions with Anne or another qualified practitioner.
Every effort is made to ensure information is accurate and up to date, but no guarantee can be given that all content is complete or error-free.
Online and telephone sessions
Anne offers counselling and coaching by telephone and online video. While every effort is made to maintain privacy and security, clients are responsible for ensuring they have a safe, confidential space for sessions.
Anne cannot accept responsibility for technical interruptions, data loss, or incidents that occur in the client’s own environment or location during a remote session.
Intellectual property
All text, images and materials on anneraw.co.uk are owned by or licensed to Anne Raw Counselling & Coaching. They may not be reproduced, distributed or adapted without prior written permission.
Limitation of liability
While we take all reasonable care in providing information and services, Anne Raw Counselling & Coaching is not liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience resulting from the use of this website or attendance at sessions, except where required by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
